During this brief meeting in one of our stores, we’ll use the measurements you’ve provided to discuss the current floor plan of your kitchen and the changes you would like to see. Our designer will explain the placement of your windows and doors and how to work with them to design a kitchen that’s both efficient and easy on the eyes. We’ll examine styles and colors as well as your personal vision and aesthetic, outlining a kitchen design that’s the perfect blend of form and function.

We’ll also look at various cabinet lines based on your preferences and the basic outline of your kitchen, and we’ll talk about countertops that could complement the cabinets you choose.

If you want to create a dramatic focal point or add accents like glass-fronted cabinet doors, we’ll decide where to place these elements for the greatest impact and effect. During the initial consultation our designers are discovering your vision so they help can you create it.

In the design phase, our consultants will input your measurements into our computer system to create detailed 3D-perspective renderings of your initial design, including the cabinet door style and crown moldings. These state-of-the-art drawings allow you to visualize the space as it will appear after remodeling, and you’ll even be able to open the digital cabinet doors and view the interiors, whether they are pull-out spice racks, lazy Susans or built-in garbage bins. During a second consultation in our showroom, we’ll present the design and discuss the finer points of kitchen cabinets, including construction materials, door styles and finishes, and we’ll explore the options available based on your preference and budget.

We have hundreds of samples on hand so you’ll be able to see and touch the finish and material of your cabinets in person. We’ll talk about crown moldings and countertops and begin to firm up the final layout. We’re designing the kitchen you’ve always dreamed of, and your input is essential.

During the modification stage we’ll get down to details and make any changes that you desire to complete the final design. If you love a door style but it exceeds your budget, we’ll present you with similar but more affordable options. We’ll have in-depth discussions about countertops, crown moldings and backsplashes, and we’ll talk about lead times for various cabinet styles.

If you need more drawer space or want to add accessories, we can do that! Want a different style of crown molding over the cabinets? We can change it. The goal during the modification phase is to discuss finishing touches and make any additions or adjustments so we can finalize the perfect kitchen: Your perfect kitchen.
