One of the most important roles Gulf Tile & Cabinetry plays in the Home Builder process is in the creation of the design center. This can be either on-site at the home builder or located at one of our retail stores. Our designers work with designers and architects from the home builder to develop an array of flooring, cabinet and countertop selections that complement aspect of homes in the development. We then send display stands such as stairsteps, waterfalls, wing racks and wood plank display stands to use at their on-site design center. Most of our home builders also bring their buyers to one of our retail showrooms at some point where the selection is vast and they also have access to all of our design staff for consultation from people who live tile, cabinets and countertops every day.
One of our builders’ clients utilized Gulf Tile & Cabinetry’s flooring throughout their home. The homeowners selected Interceramic’s HD ceramic floor wood tile “Colonial Wood Pecan 6” x 20” which has a hand-scraped distressed look that mimics real wood. Ceramic and porcelain tiles that look like wood are very popular because of advances in technology and the fact that it can be used throughout the entire house, including bath and laundry rooms.
This homeowner used other Gulf Tile & Cabinetry products in the bath and shower are as well.
